Make the most of your time on Milford Lake with our variety of watercraft rentals, including pontoon boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. We also offer boat slip rentals for your convenience.

NOTE: As these rentals are in high demand, we recommend making advance reservations. While walk-in rentals may be available, availability is not guaranteed. If you use a credit card for your purchases, we will charge you an additional 3% to help offset processing costs. This amount is not more than what we pay in fees.

Pontoon Boats

Rental Period: April-October, daylight hours only for 4,8, or 12 hour periods.
Reservation: 25% non-refundable deposit required. See cancellation policy.
Requirements: Valid driver's license of someone over the age of 21, credit card, and completed waiver.
Pricing: Prices vary based on boat sizes and day of the week. You can view pricing below. Fuel is not included in the rental price. Each rental period begins with a full tank of fuel. Fuel used is calculated at the end of your trip. The cost of gas + tax will be added to your rental.
Safety: All passengers 12 and under must wear a life jacket. PFDs are provided, and a safety briefing is required. All life jackets must be within easy reach. The throw-able flotation device must be kept within reach and cannot be stored. Max capacity on a 115 HP boat is 12 people. Max capacity on a 150 HP boat is 14 people.
Check In: Check in at the office/convenience store before heading to the boat dock. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out waiver and appropriate paperwork.
Late Arrivals: A $25 fee is charged for late arrivals over 15 minutes. Every 30 minutes after is an additional $25 fee.
Weather: Rentals may be rescheduled or canceled due to inclement weather or high winds above 20 mph for your safety.
Additional Information: Launching is from Acorns Resort's private dock. Jet skis, anchors, ropes, tubes, skis, and flags are not available for rent. Total number of people allowed on pontoons includes children and infants. Pets are welcome.

Kayaks, Canoes and SUPs

Safety: PFDs must be worn by all operators at all times. Capacity for kayaks is 1 person, canoes is 3 people, and SUPs is 1 person.
Check In: Check in at the office/convenience store before heading to the boat dock. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out waiver and appropriate paperwork.
Late Arrivals: A $25 fee is charged for late arrivals over 15 minutes. Every 30 minutes after is an additional $25 fee.

Additional Information: Keep your rented equipment together, including paddles and PFDs to avoid confusion with other guests. Lost PFDs or paddles will result in a fee up to $100.

Boat Slips & Boat Docks

Reserved Docks/Slips: Acorns Resort guests can reserve boat docks for $20/day. Weekend and holiday rates may vary.
Public Dock: The Cove boat dock is open to the public and monitored by KDWP patrol.
Fueling: Acorns Resort is not authorized to sell gas to private boats.
Boat Launching: Launching personal boats is not permitted from the Acorns Resort boat dock or beach. Please use the Farnum Creek Corps of Engineers Campground boat dock.
Boat Parking: Temporary boat parking is allowed at The Cove boat dock only.
No-Wake Zones: Please observe no-wake zones as the beaches and the boat docks are also designated for personal watercraft and swimming.
