The Milford Nature center is a great place to reconnect with nature and learn more about the plants and animals native to Kansas. Visitors will see native wildlife and be able to feel the pelts of local animals and learn about their prints, calls, and habits. This is a great place for kids to connect with nature.
This beautiful state park on the shores of Lake Milford is a great place to enjoy the lake and share a picnic. There are picnic tables, docks, swimming beaches and more. Visitors will also have access to bathrooms and showers at the onsite facilities.
Taking a break from the lake? head over to Rolling meadows Golf Course and play a round of golf. This course is meticulously groomed greens and fairways and offers over 160 acres of play. It's a hidden gem - rated as one of the best courses in all of Kansas!

Enjoy movement and adventure with a guided trail walk on the beautiful Painted Rock Trail (2.5-3 miles). The trail winds around the resort, through the woods, bridges over ravines, along the lake, across a beach and past the Cove. Trail is not suitable for most strollers. Children under 10 must be accompanied by family or friend over the age of 14.
