| Surrounded by the beautiful flint hills of kansas, Milford Lake is home to world class fishing and hunting. it's also where you're sure to find gorgeous sunsets, native limestone rock, rolling hills, forests, creeks, and abundant wildlife and bird habitat. Add convenient access to I70 and HWY 77 and the fact that it's the largest body of water in the state, Milford Lake is a very popular destination. In recent years, the lake's existing campgrounds have continued to expand beyond capacity in efforts to meet the demand. But the Farnum Creek area, until last year, was held by the Corps of engineers as a remote group campground. Acorns Resort has benefited from the careful management of this natural setting and continues to value the beauty of its unique setting while adding the highest level of accommodations on the lake. Another bonus is Acorns Resort location on the shores of Farnum Creek Cove. Farnum is a favorite spot for walleye, catfish and bass fishing, and also for recreational boating and nonmotorized watercraft. The cove is protected from most high winds and heavy boat traffic. Farnum is also the "gateway" to one of the best boat/beach destinations on the lake. This cove offers something for everyone. |
